On this date, 6/6/06, critically acclaimed Artists' Vocal Ensemble
(AVE), directed by Jonathan Dimmock, knit together 14 folios from The
Cloisters Apocalypse (14th century illuminated manuscript) with
corresopnding Renaissance motets and plainsong from the Book of
Revelation (last book of the Bible). Music by Josquin, Vivanco,
Ockeghem, de Monte, Byrd, Guerrero, Lassus, Plainsong.
