Inspired by Jane:
Morbid Curiosity magazine raises money for breast cancer research
May 23, 2006 7-9 p.m.

San Francisco writing teacher Jane Underwood (The Writing Salon) was
diagnosed with breast cancer in Fall 2005. Her trials have inspired
Morbid Curiosity's editor Loren Rhoads to do the Avon Walk for Breast
Cancer in July. Loren needs to raise $1800 to participate, money that
comes back to San Francisco to support programs at UCSF and San
Francisco General. Jane's students will read their Morbid Curiosity
stories at an event designed to raise the money Loren needs to walk.

Featured readers will be: RuthAnn Spike (MC 9 & 10), Seth Flagsberg
(MC 10), Beth Touchette-Laughlin (MC 8-10), Mary Ann Stein (MC 7),
David Booth (MC 9), and Rachel Trachten.

San Francisco's Morbid Curiosity magazine focuses on TRUE first-
person encounters with the unsavory, unwise, unorthodox, and unusual:
all the dark elements that make life truly worth living. All
experiences guaranteed 100% genuine. The magazine began in 1996 and
its final issue came out May 1, 2006.

Hope you can help us fight this terrible disease!
