Celebrating 25 Years of Physically Integrated Dance

The Bay Area's own AXIS Dance Company, in association with Dancing
Wheels of Cleveland, OH and Full Radius Dance of Atlanta, GA,
presents "Celebrating 25 Years of Integrated Dance in America," the
first festival of its kind on the West Coast. These three world-class
companies are renowned for creating and presenting contemporary dance
by performers with and without disabilities and are pioneers in the
field. The festival will feature a performance of "Terre
Brune" (2004) choreographed for AXIS by Sonya Delwaide with live
musical accompaniment by former Kronos Quartet cellist Joan
Jeanrenaud; the world premiere of a new work for Dancing Wheels
choreographed by Rebecca Darling of Pilobolus; and "Both Sides Now" a
premiere work by Artistic Director Douglas Scott of Full Radius Dance.
