My fellow ex-Odeon goers, it has been a year sinse Chicken John shut
the doors on our little clubhouse in the Mission, one year sinse
Pheonix was robbed of his Lonesome Doorman title, and one year sinse
any of us waited twenty minutes to be served a watered down well
drink, passed off as a top shelf beverage. Chicken Promised us a
bigger and brighter future, but what has he given us? The Winkers? I
laugh at the very idea. Nay, i say, we shall not settle for less than
the Odeon, or some approximation to it.
I say, the mice will play while the cat's away. I say:

Chicken's Gone, Let's Re-open The Odeon!
That's right, while Chicken is in Tibet fasting and purging his aura,
we'll be in the Mission feasting on nostalgia, although I personally
have very little nostalgia sinse i was not Of Age until the Odeon was
closed, but all the more reason to give'er a second go!
It'll be just like Old Times, only Different...
