CRAZY!!!
Ian Scalzo is an emerging painter whose creative influences include
skateboarding, graffiti, comic books, snowboarding, and Saturday
morning cartoons. He was born and raised in Rochester NY and landed
in San Francisco after studying art in the Colorado mountains and
bouncing between five cities on the US coasts. The amazing use of
color and playful style of animation characteristic of his work is
delightfully augmented by his obsessions with dominating robots,
futuristic cityscapes, giant squid, and robotic fish. http://

Mars-1 (aka Mario Martinez) is heavily active in San Francisco's
contemporary art scene and well-known among graffiti fans,
skateboarders, and streetwise hipsters. He began his career at the
early age of 13, doing graffiti in his hometown. He moved on to
airbrushing and began to paint on canvas at the age of 20. Since
then, his work has expanded to include sculpture, books, skateboard
decks and designer toys. He explores the possibilities of other-
worldly existence through his alien-like characters and serene
aquatic landscapes. The artist invites the viewer to use their own
imaginations to develop the storylines. www.mars-1.com/
Carl Pisaturo has been a Bay Area artist and designer of robotic
assemblages for the past 10 years. He is known for impeccable detail
and solid construction in the creation of compelling kinetic
sculptures that move, spin, rotate, and dance. Some of his
influences include math, bridges, mechanical sculpture, 3-D
photography, robotics, LED lights, seashells, and interactive art.
