Bay Area Now 4 culminates with a world premiere by a local dance
treasure. Margaret Jenkins' masterful choreography can be witnessed
from every angle-indoors and out-as the Forum and Gardens become a
stage for the thought-provoking and physically rigorous dance the
Company is known for. Acclaimed artists, Alexander V. Nichols (visual
designer), Michael Palmer (poet) and Paul Dresher (composer), as well
as dancers from India, collaborate in a one-of-a-kind performance
experience that explores the clash, between private and public-the
individual and the State.
