Paintball Paradise is proud to invite you to its first evening of
art, food, and music. The eight visual artists whose art will be
displayed are all working across borders in interesting ways. Some
are originally from other parts of the world and are attempting to
reconcile their "old" culture with that of living in this new one.
While others, who were born here, often feel as if they are living a
nomadic life incongruous with the dominant culture that surrounds
them. Each has their own personal narrative to relay and do so
through various media such as painting, printmaking, sculpture, and
ceramics. The artists are Kin Kwok, Hideo Yoshida, Monique Castiaux,
Kirk Stoller, Carmine Giordano, Idel Dorleans, Gilles Combet, and
Paul Moshammer. The show will also be open for viewing both Saturday
and Sunday, May 13 & 14 from 1 - 6pm, but come Friday night if you
want the food.
