Fusion City is the reality show for people who consider creative
thought as an integral part of their reality. Hosted by Kate
Braverman, Fusion City is the alternative Herbst . At the Herbst you
pay a lot of money to hear bored authors tell you things you already
know. At Fusion City, you can get in for free to hear artists of all
types discuss whatever is fueling their minds at that moment. The
show always starts with performance art and this week we will feature
comedian and author W. Kamau. The panel topic will be the Bay Area
Book Awards. Mimi Albert, Barbara Lane (and maybe Kamu) will go at
it with Kate until the butterfly screams or Dr. G cranks up the
techno and lures Kate out front for one of her legendary
performances. However, at Fusion City, anything can happen.
Audience participation strongly encouraged.
