Palestinians. Katie Miranda will present paintings, a video, and give
a speech about her three months spent in the West Bank.

Topics covered include:
-the apartheid wall and illegal annexation of Palestinian land
-Israeli settler harassment and violence toward Palestinians
specifically in the city of Hebron
-human rights violations
-what you can do to help

Why should you care about the occupation of Palestine ? The 38 year
occupation of Palestine by Israel, funded in part by American tax
dollars, has a serious affect on how the United States is perceived
by the Arab and Muslim world. The hypocrisy of our attempt to
democratize Iraq while simultaneously shunning the democratically
elected government in Palestine does not go unnoticed by the rest of
the world. I would like the opportunity to give you information you
will likely never hear in the mainstream news media. Knowledge is power.
