The Sounds We Make' is a three day all-ages music festival in uptown
Oakland, May 12th through the 14th, with shows at 21 Grand (416 25th
St.) and Rock Paper Scissors (2278 Telegraph Ave.). The fest is a
benefit for Rock Paper Scissors Collective (rpscollective.com) , a
volunteer-run organization and community-oriented art space that
provides resources such as monthly art shows, free and cheap
workshops and classes, arts/crafts equipment, a zine library, and an
accessible space for D.I.Y. and community events. The shows at 21
Grand will cost $5-10 sliding scale and the shows at RPS will be
free. Traveling vegan chef extraordinaire, Joshua Ploeg (Oregon) is
going to be making all kinds of yummy treats to be sold at all four
shows. Other surprises await.

The first show of the fest is at 21 Grand, May 12 at 8pm. The lineup
