In 2002 the Dutch documentary filmmaker Johann Kramer invited the two
lowest ranking teams of the World Cup, Bhutan in the Himalayas and
the caribbean island of Montserrat, to play for last place.
Celebrating the true spirit of soccer, Kramer films the two
countries' preparations and the Grand Final, battled out at the same
day as the World Cup Final in Yokohama.
'The Other Final' is part of the soccer film series 'Das Runde im
Eckigen' at the Goethe-Institut. More films will be shown weekly
through June 6.
