Hospitality House's 21st Annual Art Auction

Founded in 1969, Hospitality House's Community Arts Program (CAP) has
supported thousands of homeless and poor Tenderloin artists and
residents access creative resources otherwise unattainable to them
for the creation, exhibition, and sale of art.

The 21st Annual Art Auction, taking place Thursday, May 25th, 6:00PM
at Gallery One Embarcadero, celebrates the unique program and its
participants by showcasing pieces created at the CAP studio along-
side the works of such notable artists as Manuel Neri, Roy De
Forrest, Timothy Berry, Monroe Hodder, and many others.

The CAP's main fundraising event, the 21st Annual Art Auction raises
much-needed funds that help provide free-of-charge professional
instruction, materials, and assistance with exhibition and sales
opportunities for those artists. The combination studio and gallery
space is also a well-known creative oasis in the heart of the
Tenderloin, one of San Francisco's most economically deprived areas.

Admission to the event is $30 in advance and $40 at the door. Please
