Smuin Ballet Spring Program 1 features three ballets:
Fly Me to the Moon, Symphony of Psalms & The Blue Angel
May 12-18
Fly Me To The Moon, Michael Smuin's tribute to Frank Sinatra, is back
by popular demand following sold-out engagements last spring! Also
featured in this program is Smuin's world premiere of Symphony of
Psalms. This program also includes the return of The Blue Angel, an
adaptation of the movie that launched Marlene Dietrich to stardom.
More details about this event:
Fly Me To The Moon features the smooth and stylish melodies that have
inspired generations, including "The Way You Look Tonight," "That's
Life," "The Lady Is A Tramp," and more. Symphony of Psalms is set to
Stravinsky's magnificent score of the same name, following its
journey from a Psalm of lament, to one of hope to a third movement of
unreserved joy. The Blue Angel is also backhellip where enslaved by a
tawdry passion, a man gains his desirehellip but squanders his soul!
