of "The Devil On All Sides" (Le Diable en Partage) by the award-
winning French playwright Fabrice Melquiot. "Le Diable en Partage"
won two major awards from the National Dramatic Critics' Syndicate in
France where it was named "Theatrical Discovery of the Year" and
"Best French Language Play of the Year."

Infused with foolsFURY's trademark, vibrant physical style, "The
Devil On All Sides" is a haunting tragedy set during the war in ex-
Yugoslavia. The protagonist, a Christian, falls in love with and
marries a Muslim. As the war breaks out, Melquiot shows us the
pressures on their love, their families, and the crumbling world
around them in a style that seamlessly blends expressionism, poetry,
fantasy, and harsh, raw reality "The Devil On All Sides" makes
compelling art of world-altering violence, of fratricidal hatred, and
of the literal dehumanization of war. Yet Melquiot's view of war is
multifaceted, deeply disturbing, and somehow filled with humor.
