CounterCorp Film Festival multi-media benefit event: "Public Image Ltd."

Sat, May 13
8:30 pm

$5-$10

Other Cinema impresario and cult film curator Craig Baldwin emerges
from his subterranean film lair with a medley of retro "corporate
identity porn" loops to share with us in an atmosphere best described
as "guerilla theater."

Among the jaw-droppers are Coronet's "What Is Capitalism?", Delco's
"That's the Way It Is", General Motor's "Our American Crossroads",
Hilton Hotel's "Hotel Ethos", IBM's early computer chronology
"Piercing the Unknown", Oscar Meyer's "Because We Care", and Philco/
Ford's "Year 1999" - plus a special treat from Rick Prelinger's
unique collection of cinema ephemera.

Adult beverages and tasty treats from a CounterCorp-hosted bar. Music
and merriment will abound. Proceeds benefit the 2006 CounterCorp Anti-
Corporate Film Festival in October.
