Bitch: Feminist Response to Pop Culture (bitchmagazine.com) will be
in the spotlight in Intersection for the Arts' (theintersection.org)
series Independent Press Spotlight on Tuesday, April 25th, 2006 at
7:30 pm.

Bitch, a quarterly magazine based in Oakland and devoted to incisive
commentary that includes interviews and profiles of cool, smart women
in all areas of pop culture, will be joined by featured artists
Daphne Gottleib and Beth Lisick. Bitch will share the spotlight with
Manic D Press (manicdpress.com), an award-winning, local press. The
evening will begin with readings from the featured artists followed
by a Q&A session with publishers and editors. The event will take
place at Intersection for the Arts, 446 Valencia (between 15th and
16th), SF, CA, (415) 626-2787. It will cost between $5 and $15.
