Fostering Art will be having their 2006 Art Exhibit on May 4th and
5th at Root Division Gallery.

Fostering Art is a photography program for current and former foster
youth.

Fostering Art is a photography program that teaches art as an act of
conscious self-expression. When students are behind the camera they
are in charge of how they are seen and what parts of their world they
are willing
to make public. The students in the Fostering Art program have an
artistic
tool, that they have immediate access to, which allows them to
explore and control the expression of their image, vision, and voice.

Fostering Art Opening Reception will be held on Thursday, May 04,
2006 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Root Division Gallery, 3175 17th Street,
San Francisco, CA 94110. The Exhibit will also be open on Friday, May
5th from 12:00 - 7:00 PM and by appointment. Please call (415)
