SCION DASHBOARD | San Francisco Pop-Up Gallery Space

The Scion Dashboard Gallery is a temporary interactive gallery space
designed to support local emerging talent while recognizing the Hayes
Valley district as an important cultural and creative hub in San
Francisco. Scion invited weekly curators, artists, and DJs to display
current works and to create works onsite. The exterior of the space
will display "mural invitations" painted by the four Dashboard
curators and their crews. The invitations will highlight the artist's
work and the weeks event. Attendees will have a one of a kind
opportunity to watch as the gallery's collection grows each week.

WHO:

The weekly curators are:

Week #1: Big Foot
Week #2: Shawn Barber
Week #3: Norm of AWR/MSK
Week #4: David Choe

In addition, music will be provided by local and nationally
recognized DJs including Psycho Les (NYC, Beatnuts) and DJ Klever
(ATL, Allies). Attendees will be invited to create and customize
their own CD's, customize Release apparel, enter contests to win
artwork produced by participating artists and interactive daily with
the hottest street artists as they create their temporary
installations on site.

Opening night reception is April 22, 3006.

Featuring a live performance by "Hot For Teacher" and DJ Teddy Powell

Attending artists: Big Foot, Haculla, Rambo, Mike Sutfin, Sylvia Ji,
Mars-1, Skinner, Serf and Mint.
