Michael Eng teaches philosophy and architecture at Pratt Institute. =
He is currently editing a collection of essays called Theoretical =
Practice: Investigations into the Architectural Object. Recent =
publications include "Figures of History," a catalogue essay for the =
exhibition Maryam Jafri: Costume Party: Colony and Native (Neuer =
Berliner Kunstverein, forthcoming) and "Anthropology, or the Problem =
of Other Bodies: Heterotopia" (1996), in Knut =C5sdam's Speech, Living, =
Sexualities, Struggle (Fine Arts Unternehmen, 2004).
Kimberly Lamm teaches English at the University of Washington. Recent =
publications include "Seeing Feminism in Exile: The Imaginary Maps of =
Mona Hatoum" and "Getting Close to the Screen of Exile: Visualizing" =
and "Resisting the National Mother Tongue" in Theresa Hak Kyung Cha's =
Dict=E9e as well as a catalogue essay on Matthew Buckingham's =
exhibition "A Man of the Crowd." New work on the poetry of Juliana =
Spahr and the art of Lorna Simpson and Carrie Mae Weems is forthcoming.
