GG Bridge Suicide Prevention Barrier Benefit

Join Tom Ammiano, the San Francisco Deputy Sheriffs's Association,
and other Citizens in San Francisco, for a reception to help build an
aesthetic and effective suicide barrier on the Golden Gate Bridge.

The Metropolitan Transportation District has pledge $1.6 million of
the $2 necessary for the environmental and engineering studies to
develop suicide barrier plans, and an additional $130,000 has been
identified from other sources.
But more is needed, and this is one of the efforts to help. There
will be hors d'oeuvres, friends, and fun.
