Building on the success of previous years in showcasing the art and
music cultures of South Asia in the greater Bay Area and abroad, the
Third Annual Dhamaal Sights and Sounds Festival is very proud to
bring the talents of living legend G.S. Sachdev and Tabla virtuoso
Swapan Chaudhuri together for a special performance that celebrates
South Asian-American culture through its ancient heritage. Together,
these musicians create a unique magic and mind altering musical

Just four blocks from Union Square, the Center is a short walk from
the Powell and Montgomery Street BART/Muni stations and is accessible
from many major bus lines. Situated on the eastern edge of Yerba
Buena Gardens, the Center spans the block between Mission and Howard
on Third Street. Next door to the Moscone Convention Center, across
the street from SFMOMA and across the Gardens from Metreon.
Affordable parking can be found nearby.

The main entrance to the Galleries and Forum Building is at 701
Mission at Third, though there are entrances along the Yerba Buena
Gardens side as well. Our Theater Building entrance is at 700 Howard
Street at Third.
