Come party in German with snacks and refreshments and get ready for
the World Cup! The first in a series of films that will put you in
the mood for soccer is about Germany's most beloved goal. In 1954
Germany beat the favored Hungarian team 3:2. The stunning match meant
not only the world championship but also the recovery of a nation
after World War II.
The film was an audience favorite at SF International Film Festival
and at Berlin & Beyond 2005.

More "soccer" films will be shown from April 17 to June 6 at the
Goethe-Institut
