A fundraiser for Bay Area Wilderness Training featuring two SF indie
rock bands

Bay Area indie rock bands "Sleeper" and "Southdowns" will be
performing at this benefit for Bay Area Wilderness Training (BAWT,
www.bawt.org): a nonprofit that began with the idea that California's
wilderness areas are a vast resource for local youth-serving
organizations. BAWT promotes the wise use of these national, state
and regional parks through a professional wilderness leadership
training. BAWT links its workshops to a free outdoor-equipment
library, so that youth organizations and schools may outfit their
groups for trips of their own.

Free food & door prizes for early arrivals. Happy Hour 5-9p: well and
pints (international/domestic) for $2.50

Proceeds from Rockin' for Youth go directly to BAWT to help cover
costs of workshops, making them more accessible for San Francisco
youth agencies.
