Buddhafield: Buddhism Meets Burning Man? Slideshow and talk

An informal talk and slideshow given by an ordained Buddhist visiting
from the UK (where Buddhafield is based.) Buddhafield is a collective
emphasizing fun, ritual and art, activism, ecology, ethical
consumerism, and Buddhist practice. They offer camping retreats and
festivals, and also teaches meditation and Buddhism at festivals and
fairs. Buddhafield has been described as "Burning Man Meets

The center is wheel chair accessible. It is located in San
Francisco's Mission district between 21st and 22nd streets, between
Valencia and Mission streets. The 24th Street BART station is 2
blocks away. The 26 Valencia, 14 Mission, and 49 Van Ness buses stop
nearby. There is a not-too-expensive parking garage on 21st and
Valencia as well as street parking.
