Mind Strata: Office Dreams deals with the transformation of office
space into dream space through the insertion of sculpture, drawing,
installation, photography, video and performance. The exhibition is
taking place in the ground level storefront of the historic I Magnin
building in downtown Oakland.

Mind Strata is a group of Bay Area artists that formed in 2006 to
carry out a series of conceptually based exhibitions. The core
members are Bryan Hewitt, Vita Mei Hewitt and Peter Foucault though
others are frequently involved.

Upcoming exhibitions include Mind Strata: The Collision Point at the
Works San Jose in September 2006 and Mind Strata: The Illustrated
Encyclopedia of Sex which opens at The Garage in San Francisco on
March 25, 2006

This temporary office space will not be open to the public, but will
be visible twenty-four hours a day through the large glass storefront
windows. Video projections will occur at night and performances will
occur at times T.B.A.
