"the beatnik syndicate" features San Francisco improvisers Kate
Kotler, Zack Stern, Joel Dovev, Mike Della Penna, Michael Danzansky,
Julie Potter and David Allen in a unique blend of improv, performance
poetry and jazz - three art forms with deep roots in San Francisco.
In "Tales of Beatnik Glory" they will perform the innovative new
longform improv format - The Hook. The Hook was developed by Utah
improviser, Jesse Parent; and, combines improvised slam poetry,
longform improv and a Capella music into an exciting theatrical
format that is sure to electrify San Francisco audiences!

This show will also feature the debut of "Middle-School Poetry" - a
very funny troupe (featuring Dan Foley, Peter Illes, Chris Kelly, Dan
Ronco, Sharon Rylander & Jarrod Quon - coached by Adam Koppel) that
will bring out your inner-adolescent!
