The oldest clinic in the nation devoted to gay men's health, the GMHC
is a volunteer-run free clinic providing non-judgmental, sex-
positive, and free STD screening, diagnosis and treatment to men of
all sexual orientations.

Celebrating 30 years of service to the Bay Area and beyond, the Gay
Men's Health Collective (GMHC) of the Berkeley Free Clinic is hosting
the gala event of the year, Exposure!, on Monday April 17, 2006 at
8:00PM. Hosted by the Bay Area's very own Juanita More, the night
will feature burlesque, drag and hip-hop performers, a fashion show,
and live music. Local wine and champagne will be poured before and
after the live show which will take place on the Roda Stage at 2025
Addison Street (Berkeley Repertory Theater) in Berkeley.

Founded in 1976 in response to blatant homophobia among the
healthcare establishment, the GMHC consists of dedicated lay and
professional healthcare volunteers who have been trained to screen
men for the most common sexually transmitted infections, diagnose and
treat those infections, and most importantly to educate men about
sexual health. Volunteers identify as gay, bi, or queer. The drop-in
clinic accepts new clients, regardless of sexual orientation, on
Sunday evenings.

Tickets range from $25-$150; $50-and-up tickets include a chocolate
tasting and wine mixer in the Berkeley Repertory Theater's courtyard
beginning at 6:30pm. Immediately following the show, champagne and
cake will be served under the Berkeley sky. For more details or to
