From the Dream Outward with Vijali Hamilton

Internationally renowned artist Vijali Hamilton will present, with
film and music, her creation The World Wheel, twelve monumental
sculptures and ceremony performances that circle the globe. Shown to
her first in a dream, the World Wheel was done in collaboration with
host communities in Malibu, the Seneca Reservation, Spain, Italy,
Greece, Egypt, Palestine and Israel, India, Tibet, China, Siberia,
and Japan. It combines education, art, and ritual to focus attention
on resolving social and environmental problems to activate our
awareness of the interconnectedness of all life.

Vijali Hamilton, M.A. (Goddard); monastic member of a Vedanta convent
for ten years; fellow, the World Academy of Art and Science. Over
1000 of her artworks are in private and public collections.

Guest musician Edie Hartshorne will accompany her.
