The BIG INDIE POPROCK Extravaganza! at POUND SF(this venue is all ages)

The PoundSF, in keeping with a commitment to branching out into new
genres (other than metal, death-metal, thrash-metal and hardcore),
has opened its cast-itron doors to a night of pop music.

San Francisco's piano pop trio True Margrit will play songs from
their brand new CD, the luminous SEAWORTHY. Kat Downs Conspiracy--a
neo-prog-pop quartet --will hold forth with their intricate anthems.
The funky Fender Rhodes-infused Michael Williams Project will play
one of their first SF shows , and closing out the evening the
POProckStars from Louisiana, Meriwether will pop the house.

The POUND is soon to be more widely known as a premier spot to check
out local bands. Great sound/ lights.... and there's PARKING!!!
