On Friday, 1/27, at 8:00 pm, CSC presents the second in its
Pleasure's Edges series, featuring true-life story-telling and erotic
readings about sex. This one will be dedicated to true tales about
sex and age, with CSC founder Carol Queen's surprising story about
the oldest guy she ever got frisky with, Good Vibrations' founder
(and editor of "Still Doing It: Women and Men Over 60 Write About
Their Sexuality") Joani Blank, and many other performers. $5-50
sliding scale, with all proceeds benefiting CSC. "We do the
Pleasure's Edges series to inform while we entertain," says Queen.
"Story-telling, especially true stories, puts information about sex
into the context of people's real lives. It helps flesh out what we
know, weed out our assumptions, and lets us see how much we all have
in common."
