A screening of local filmmaker Trina Lopez's 46-minute documentary, A
Second Final Rest: The History of San Francisco's Lost Cemeteries.
There will be a special wine and cheese reception at 5:45 p.m. Film
begins at approximately 6:00 p.m. Question-and-answer session with
Ms. Lopez following the film.
Film description:
Following the 1906 earthquake, San Francisco rose from its own ashes
to become one of the liveliest cities in America. It also managed to
banish nearly all of its dead. Director Trina Lopez's film A Second
Final Rest: The History of San Francisco's Lost Cemeteries exhumes
the history and examines the fate of San Francisco's forgotten
graveyards.
