This winter season, Making Impressions Fine Print Salon presents =

D=E9coupage Production's 'Salon de la Californie,' an art benefit =

located at 225 Seventh Street, conveniently located in SOMA. Free =

artists' reception will be held on Friday, January 27th, 5:30 - =

7:00pm. The art exhibition will be available thereafter by =

appointment only, through February 17th.
'Salon de la Californie,' Artists' Benefit Launch Party follows the =

reception from 8:00pm - 12:00am featuring live entertainment from San =

Francisco Bay Area's 'Or, The Whale' and 'Two Gallants,' $5 at the =

door. If you've attended our fall season exhibit, you know this event =

is a sure sell out. Purchasing advance tickets is highly recommended.

Making Impressions Fine Print Salon will be transformed into a =

"hibernal-summer" via a collaborative study of the state we call home =

- California.

The 'Salon de la Californie' show provides local artists the =

opportunity to explore their surroundings and to investigate ways in =

which their environs influence their work. A mythic place, California =

is known for its picturesque beaches as for its prolific wildlife, =

laid-back attitude, and its wild and wacky population. A haven of the =

west, and a forefather of countless sub-cultures, to some, California =

is a surfer's paradise, to others a multifarious utopia. What's your =

California?
