Sizzle presents GenderEnders!

Friday, January 20th Femina Potens Gallery will present its spoken
word series Sizzle, a monthly night of open-mic erotica, film
screenings, burlesque, drag shows and musical performances.
January's Sizzle will present GenderEnders: a night of trans- and
gender-focused performance, featuring:

Lisa Jervis, co-founder and publisher of Bitch: Feminist Response to
Pop Culture and editor at large of LiP: Informed Revolt.

Max Wolf Valerio, trans man and author of the forthcoming Seal Press
release, The Testosterone Files: My Hormonal and Social
Transformation from Female to Male.

Shawna Virago, trans-fox rock star, activist, filmmaker, co-founder
of TrannyFest, and writer whose work will appear in the upcoming
TransForming Community anthology.

Nadyalec Hijazi is an omnisexual hellraising genderqueer gayrab whose
work has appeared in Best Gay Erotica 2006, Desire in Transition,
Lodestar Quarterly, Generation Q, Hot Off the Net, and Trikone.

In addition to the featured performers, every GenderEnders show hosts
a performance open mic, open to folks of all genders, sexualities and
identities!

As always, GenderEnders will be hosted by writer, spoken word artist,
and all-round renaissance trans woman Julia Serano. Hope to see you
