Pieces of China: Ceramics by Liz Worthy

Fri, Feb 3
6:00pm-9:00pm

Free

A school of fish, wiggling their tails and flapping their fins will
greet you at
Ruby's Clay Studio this February. The pieces of these pisces are
held together with wire and springs and their bodies will lure you in
with their intricate porcelain
scales, decorated with cobalt oxide. These fish were created by Liz
Worthy this August during a residency at the Sanbao Ceramics Art
Institute near Jingdezhen, China.

In addition to these treats, on display will also be a set of
quirky Mao dishware created using decals purchased on her trip and a
collection of talking (and dancing!) dolls.
