This exuberant Appalachian barn dance has gone trans-bay and will be
making its first appearance in Oakland on Friday, January 13. Dance
the evening away to the masterful calling of Boston's Dean Allemang
and the live old-time music played by the Vista Social Club. Queer
contra ignores gender roles! It's friendly! It's flirtatious! It's a
non-pharmacological anti-depressant! No experience necessary.
