111Minna Street Gallery is pleased to announce "A Year and a Day",
an exhibition
of collaborative paintings and solo work by Brian Barneclo and Greg
'Pnut' Galinsky
produced in the last year.

What began as private "jam sessions" in Brian Barneclo's studio,
soon evolved into
"live" painting at clubs and events; Vans shoes commissioned the 2
artists to
create huge murals at their skateboarding and snowboarding events;
The San Francisco Chronicle featured them on the cover of their
weekend Datebook.
They did a one-day painting session with Tim Biskup and Gary Baseman
at Tim's gallery
Bispop in Pasadena Other events include live painting at the
Sneaker Pimps
traveling sneaker art show, a mural at the Outlaw skatepark in
Humboldt County,
painting in private residences, and the Fabric 8 party at House of
Shields (SF).

Brian Barneclo studied art at Indiana University. He paints
cityscapes and is
influenced by skateboarding and music. He has shown at the Shooting
Gallery,
New Langton Art, Michelle O'Connor Gallery, Canvas Gallery and many
others.

Greg 'Pnut' Galinsky studied at the Otis Parson School of Design but
left to
pursue his dream of creating the Junkies clothing line.
From an early age Greg has been inspired by skateboarding and surfing.
