After three very successful months of weekly "Purple Wednesdays" at The
Purple Onion, Hosts Guy J. Jackson and Geoff Foster have been given the
honor of yet another extension. Guy's fantastic storytelling coupled
with Geoff's soulful crooning have been the cornerstones of the
performance as well as the pair's hilarious quips and banter. The
show has
been extended through January and February and moved to Friday nights
with
the title "The Purple Friday Show".

Over the past three months "Purple Wednesdays" played host to some of
San
Francisco's brightest talents, featuring a wide range of acts including;
storytellers, musicians, poets, stand-up comedians, actors,
ventriloquists, rappers, magicians and a lot more. Some of the Special
guest included; musicians The Rowan Brothers, Ish Marquez, Wiseproof,
Victoria George, Robin Galante, After The Crash, Kristen Lagasse, Peter
Nevins, John Keigwin, Simon Smart-Foster, Rachel Effron etc.. Poets;
Clifford Wayne Anderson, Mark Schwartz, E.K, Miranda, Nissa Larson, Doug
Anderson, The Marvelous Louie etc...

The new "Purple Friday" show will be featured at the Purple Onion (140
Columbus Avenue) every Friday night in January and February at 10 pm.
Expect some exciting improvements in the format of the show as well as
more of the best performers San Francisco has to offer.

Host Geoff Foster says "The Purple Friday Show will be the best variety
show ever, period!"

Guy J. Jackson says "I think we should call the show Purple Fridays"
