Kung Pao Kosher Comedy - Jewish comedy on Christmas in a Chinese
Restaurant (where else?) is celebrating its bar/bat mitzvah this year!

Kung Pao answers the age-old question, "What are Jews supposed to do
on Christmas?" What started out as a joke has become an institution
in San Francisco (and has been written up in newspapers around the
country), giving 3000 escapees of "Christmas-mania" of all
persuasions an alternative to Jingle Bells and The Nutcracker.

This year's comics:
-Headliner: Wendy Liebman (David Letterman, The Tonight Show, Comic
Relief)
-Betsy Salkind (The Tonight Show, writer for Roseanne)
-Gregg Rogell (Comedy Central, The Nanny, The Aristocrats)
-Lisa Geduldig (Your hostess/producer)

In keeping with the tradition of "tzedakah" (charity), each year Kung
Pao donates partial proceeds to two outstanding organizations and
causes we believe in.

This year's recipients are:
-The creation of the weekly "Esther Weintraub Comedy Clinic" for
elderly residents at The Jewish Home
AND
"Clowns Without Borders" providing laughter to kids in areas of crisis.

-Dinner Shows (7-course Chinese banquet): $60
-Cocktail Show (Vegie egg rolls): $40)

Dec 22-25. 2 shows a day.
6pm Dinner & 9:30pm Cocktail.
(One hour earlier on Dec 25: 5pm & 8:30pm)

Dec 24 & 25 Dinner Shows are sold out. Tix still available for
remaining 6 shows.
