the entire history of the world, much of it discarded,
The excess of everyday communication. What to do with
the over-stimulation of the now combined with history?
11 painters filter their fragmentary contemporary
experience to create dreamlike spaces in 2 dimensions.
Exploring the personal and political through painting,
drawing and mixed media, they investigate such themes
as: twisted nostalgia, thwarted Romantic Fantasy,
interpretation of the urban landscape and cultural
reflections of glamour propagated through media.
