A salsa dance/benefit celebrating the work of the Coalition on
Homelessness to unite immigrant and non-immigrant families in the
fight against poverty. This full festive evening of entertainment
features local salsa notables DJ Carlito Brigante, Manny and the
Cruzettes, DJ Walt Digz Vela, and topping off the bill as well as
the night's festivities, the incomparable Anthony Blea y su Charanga.
Admission includes dinner: homecooked and guaranteed "totalmente
authentico" chicken mole dinner. A no-host bar featuring beer
(Thirsty Bear Brewery), wine, sangria (222 Club), and mojitos will be
available throughout the evening's activities. All ages welcome; must
be at least 21 to purchase and consume alcohol.
