Nancy Chan's portraits focus on 'the individual' surrounded by vast
white space, the situation in which they exist is neither evident,
nor explained. Chan captures a moment in time, an individual isolated
to his or her own thoughts or caught in the attention of another.
Small, silent moments are recreated, replayed forward and backwards,
as many times as desired.

Don Roller's subjects appear while sifting through fragments of
thought and memory, moving through emotional landscapes of muted
color. A warm figure stands before a distant landscape offering a
sense of disparity, an expression of the common human need for
understanding.

Paul Urich offers escape within an empty landscape, offering safe
isolation, an environment for comfort, family, life, love, growth,
and death

In Jessica Cadkin's sculptural works, bright, brash colors covered by
a plain outer skin reveal an understated, refined intimation of what
it contains; what is immediately apparent on the outside, hints
subtly at an inner quality of vibrancy.
