Giant Robot SF presents, Lets Share, featuring works by Evah Fan,
Jack Long, and Susie Ghahremani.

This three person show will highlight the influences that make up
each artist's body of work. Evah Fan's sense of the irreverent plays
a central role in her work but there are also touches of mystery and
moodiness. Her illustrative style draws the viewer into the very
specific worlds and spaces she creates. Jack Long is interested in
delving into his subconscious thus creating images that attempt to
decode hidden or secret messages. His dreamy painterly style invokes
an old-world feel. Susie Ghahremani's work reflects the nostalgia of
youth. She creates her own stylized versions of common items or
scenes to communicate something entirely different.

Evah Fan graduated from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn. A native of
Southern California, she now makes Berkeley her home. Her work has
appeared in several publications including Giant Robot, Arkitip,
Tokion, and the American Illustration Annual. She has exhibited her
work throughout the US, and abroad. She has a fascination with
potatoes and Inuits, but not necessarily in that order. http://

Jack Long recently migrated west to Los Angeles from Rhode Island. He
received his BFA from the Rhode Island School of Design in 2002. His
artistic influences range from the work of northern renaissance
painters to the films of Fellini and Bergman. Working as a freelance
illustrator he illustrated, The Tales of Slumber, a children series
written by Jeremy Marc Girard. Jack was part of 2005's Passing Ships
group show at Giant Robot New York. www.jacklong.com

Susie Ghahremani is an illustrator, musician, and craft maven. She
has two silent H's in her last name. Recently moving from Providence,
RI to San Diego she dishes up paintings for the likes of Bust, The
New York Times, Utne Reader, Giant Robot and the band, Postal
Service. Susie was part of 2005's Passing Ships group show at Giant
Robot New York.
