Eddie Brill
Born and raised in New York, Eddie Brill is the warm-up comedian and
talent coordinator for the comedians on "Late Night With David
Letterman." Eddie received the MAC Award for the Best Male Comedian
in New York three years in a row. He has appeared in over 100 TV
shows in six different countries. He has acted in many films
including, Drop Dead Rock with Adam Ant and Deborah Harry, Burnzy's
Last Call with Sherry Stringfield, Chris North and David Johansen and
30 Years to Life with Saturday Night Live's Tracy Morgan. He was also
seen in the Comedy Central series, Contest Searchlight with Denis
Leary. Eddie also teaches a Comedy Workshop at Gotham Comedy Club in
New York City, where he works with both seasoned and aspiring
comedians to fine tune and layer their performances.
Kurtis Matthews
Kurtis Matthews began his comedy career in 1984 at the Comedy Store
in Hollywood. Kurtis has opened for and shared the stage with Bill
Hicks, Adam Sandler, Sam Kinison, Dennis Wolfberg, George Lopez, Jeff
Cesario, Jim Carrey, Bob Goldthwaite, Rodney Dangerfield, Janeane
Garofalo, and many others. After five years in the corporate software
arena and twelve years of touring as a stand up, appearing on
national television and numerous radio shows, he now offers his
advice and guidance in comedy and communication. He is one of only
two instructors in the United States who offer the "process-based"
comedy training that anyone can use to be funny. Kurtis teaches
comedy in San Francisco and San Jose.
Joan Fagan
Joanie Fagan has a unique and "perky" style of performing that had
developed into a character so castable, that the producers of The
Drew Carey Show wrote her into some episodes as Faith, President of
the Optimists Club. This "character" was also perfectly suited to
warm-up sitcom audiences for dozens of successful shows including
Will & Grace, Frasier and Just Shoot Me. Her likeable personality
helped her land many national commercials for companies like Toyota,
Alaska Airlines and Pearle Vision. Joan's acting credits include
films like Race to Space with James Woods and Bubble Boy for
Touchstone. She also has a substantial voiceover career including two
Disney movies, Angels in the Outfield and Balloon Farm. She has
performed in Las Vegas for years, and has been seen on 3 Evening at
the Improvs, Girls Night Out and more. Her "Stepford wife" type
character has her own very special and funny view on being the "not-
so-perfect" Mom with dieting, PTA and keeping the in-laws, hubby, and
everyone else, happy.
Joy Gohring
Joy Gohring was chosen from over 2000 acts around the country to
perform at HBO'S US Comedy Arts Festival, were she was scouted by
Carsey-Werner Productions (Rosanne, That 70's Show) and given a
development deal to create a TV series based on her own brand of
comedy. Joy currently stars in GOOD GIRLS DON'T... on the Oxgyen
Network and recently returned from Scotland with great revues from
the Edinburgh Comedy Festival.
