Cabaret Verdalet

8:30pm-2:30am
$15 tickets, $20 door
Cabaret Verdalet, San Francisco's recurring retro ensemble variety =
event, returns November 17th with an all new stage show set to the =
theme of 1940's Hollywood. New York's fabulous World Famous *BOB* =
headlines the procession of stylish burlesque, aerial exploits, plate- =
spinning, live jazz interludes, ukulele ladies, tap-dancing, magic =
and a dash of drag hosted by mistress of ceremonies Jill Tracy with =
vampish charm and sultry melodies. The line-up features guest =
performers from Los Angeles and Las Vegas, long-time local favorites, =
fresh new faces and original acts never before seen. Hot jazz combo =
The Cottontails lay down the rhythms and tunes mixed with vocal =
talents throughout the night.
As always, vintage and flashy attire are encouraged, but all are =
welcome at Cabaret Verdalet where the glamour of the past is reshaped =
in modern times - gents in top hats and ladies in feather and lace =
mingle with nightclub starlets and post-modern dandies as a unique =
cast of characters light the stage with glitter, grace and humor.
The night marks Verdalet's fourth production since 2001 and is the =
only one for this year. Spend an evening in true vintage nightclub =
style with some of the finest talents in burlesque, cabaret music, =
circus arts and vaudeville-inspired acts from the Bay Area and beyond.
