Creative Growth's Annual "Holiday Exhibition and Sale"

Creative Growth Art Center is proud to announce the arrival of our
annual Holiday Exhibition and Sale, on view from December 2 through
January 6. This highly anticipated event has something for everyone's
Holiday list. Creative Growth's visionary artists with disabilities
will transform the gallery and studio into a smorgasbord of artwork.
Featuring ceramics, paintings, drawings, silk scarves, wood
sculpture, prints, holiday greeting cards and much more by the 140
visual artists associated with the Center. Over 1,000 gifts under $50
and bargain bins of original artwork will be available for anyone's
philanthropic holiday shopping.

This exhibition has become a Bay Area tradition and draws a crowd of
well over 500 art lovers and bargain shoppers looking for one of a
kind gifts, as well as artwork to add to their collections. Lines
typically wind around the block - so come early or become a member
for the special members preview held from 11:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. on
December 2nd. The gallery will also stay open on Saturdays - December
3rd, 10th and 17th from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. - leading up to the
Christmas Holidays.

Also at the opening, Creative Growth's Video Production class will
premiere it's latest video, "S.W.C.G." - a puppet interpretation of
the classic "Star Wars" movie. The imaginative sets and puppets used
for this production will be featured in the gallery. The video of
"S.W.C.G" as well as the previous video, "Baker's Dozen", will be
available on DVD.

Creative Growth is the oldest and largest independent art center for
adults with developmental, physical, mental and/or emotional
disabilities. Creative Growth serves over 140 adult visual artists
and provides an opportunity for personal growth and artistic
development.
