Bleeding-edge ulcers, ruptured spleens, and busted nuts...the Hemlock
Tavern's monthly comedy night, Club Chuckles, is an ongoing medical
investigation into the nexus of comedy and music. 10 drink maximum

ROB CANTRELL:

Rob Cantrell's comedy comes from his "heart", as well as many other
complex organs in his body. The newly based New York comedian has an
energetic act that is both smart and original, professional and
ridiculous. This combination always makes for a good time and lots of
laughs. Rob made his network debut as a finalist on the first and
third season of NBC's hit show The Last Comic Standing.

He has been seen on CBS's Late Late Show, VH1, Comedy Central's
"Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn" and National Lampoon's Rising Stars of
Comedy. He also wrote and produced his own documentary/performance
DVD titled "Metaphysical Graffiti - A Road Movie" that was screened
at the 05 Cannes Film Festival. Another highlight for Rob was hosting
a NORML fundraiser in Hollywood, Ca. at the Avalon Theater where he
shared the stage with Bill Mahr and Tenacious D. Rob was also asked
to be a special guest on The Mitch Hedberg and Steven Lynch Sold Out
Theater Tour.

And as if that weren't enough, Rob recently performed on the
Xingolati rock cruise from LA to Ensenada with The Flaming Lips and G-
Love!

BRENT WEINBACH:

Hot off his recent headlining gigs at the Punchline, along with
appearances at Comedy Day and the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre in
LA, San Francisco standup comedian Brent Weinbach has gained a
particularly favorable reputation in both the underground and
mainstream scenes. Through an unconventional and quirky style, Brent
combines absurdism, physical humor, and cultural characterizations
with an innocent and intellectual sophistication. As the Weinbach
cult following continues to develop, fans all over the Bay Area and
beyond can be seen wearing the increasingly fashionable "Weinbach" t-
shirt.

MARC CAPPELLE & THE BIRDS OF PREY

Club Chuckles is punch-drunk pleased to present the WORLD DEBUT of
Marc Cappelle's (American Music Club, Virgil Shaw & the Killer Views,
Porchlight) comedy routine, MARC CAPPELLE AND THE BIRDS OF PREY.
Utilizing a MIDI-sampler, Marc will assemble a strange comic
narrative together from excerpts of other comedians' standup routines
while a flock of animatronic birds provides the live commentary track.

SPECIAL MUSIC GUESTS: THE GUY-GUYS!!!!!

The Guy-Guys are the first AND first word in all-guy Go-Go's cover
bands, and a veritable garage rock stupor group with members of The
Mummies and Phantom Surfers.
