Reception for opening of "Transitory Environments" featuring work by
Eve S. Mosher and Miya Ando Stanoff.
Mosher's sculptural works and drawings are "site-responsive" -
created in response to the winery and the world outside its windows.
Her labor intensive works explore an interaction between the works
and the physicality of the gallery space through color and shadow.
Her reductive organic forms are fabricated with manmade materials,
calling into question the divide between the built and natural

Stanoff is a minimalist metalworker; employing steel and pigment to
create quiet, introspective environments. Working solely in metals,
she is ultimately interested in the study of subtraction to the point
of purity, simplicity, and refinement. (http://
